Rehearsals are scheduled each Monday evening from 7 to 9:30P.M., September through June. Members are expected to commit to an entire season and attend all rehearsals.
Those missing more than two rehearsals during a concert cycle will be required to demonstrate a proficiency of the performance music prior to the final dress rehearsal. Those who do not know the repertoire are not permitted to sing that concert program.
Members are asked to learn notes outside of rehearsals. In addition to Monday rehearsals, there may be an extra “learn-the-notes” rehearsal scheduled on a Saturday.
Final Dress rehearsals are mandatory and are scheduled according to the availability of venue. Schedule conflicts are worked out on an individual basis. Unforeseen conflicts must be reported as soon as possible.

Each member pays a membership fee which helps to pay the expenses of rehearsal and performance venues, custodial fees, our excellent rehearsal accompanist, and our Artistic Director. Of course, we continue to seek support through grants, business ads and Guild memberships.
Chorale members may be required to purchase their music for each concert. The cost varies, but is generally less than $20. Music is available for purchase at the first rehearsal.
All members are encouraged to sell six (6) tickets per concert.
All members are encouraged to sell subscriptions for the entire season.

Men’s apparel is black tuxedo, black tie and cummerbund, black shoes and socks, and black studs and cufflinks, white wing collar shirts with no ruffles or colored trim.
Women’s apparel is the RMC regulation dress, black hose, black shoes with a closed toe and heel, plus a single strand of white pearls and white pearl stud-type earrings.
Dress price is around $80.00. Be prepared to provide size information or have measurements taken by the Women’s Attire Chairperson at the first rehearsal.
